Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.

  • Saturday – 08/19/23
  • Sunday – 08/20/23
    • Tonight will we will be cooking on the grill. I will be making boneless grilled chicken thighs brushed with barbeque sauce and some brats in the air fryer. To go along with the chicken, I will be making Classic Macaroni Salad.
  • Monday – 08/21/23
    • Tonight we will be having a simple Cobb Salad. I will be grilling up some chicken breast and serving with Romaine lettuce, bacon, avocado and diced hard-boiled eggs.
  • Tuesday – 08/22/23
    • Every Tuesday, we do some type of Mexican theme. For tonight, I will be making Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas. I serve this up with some flour tortillas and sour cream. This is a recipe I like making because it comes together so quickly.
  • Wednesday – 08/23/23
    • Wednesday is seafood night most weeks. This week we are having Easy Shrimp Scampi. When the shrimp is done, I serve it with some cooked spaghetti to make a nice shrimp pasta meal.
  • Thursday – 08/24/23
    • We try to keep things really simple on Thursdays because this is the night that I go grocery shopping! Tonight we will be doing Instant Pot Split Pea Soup. If you like split pea soup and have never made it in the instant pot before, try it! It cooks so quickly. We will be serving this with grilled cheese sandwiches.
  • Friday – 08/25/23
    • Tonight we will be doing Rib Eye steak for dinner. I just marinate the steak with some McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, oil, and wine vinegar. Then throw it on the grill, or broil it to your desired doneness. As a side dish, I will be making some frozen vegetables and Easy Oven-Roasted Potatoes.
