MEAL PLAN WITH RECIPE LINKS – 09/11 – 09/17/21

Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope that this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.
- Saturday – 09/11/21
- Tonight we will be making Bacon Wrapped Chicken, made with chicken breast and made with a creamy sauce. One side dish I will be making is 5 Ingredient Instant Pot Mac and Cheese. It’s the easiest instant pot recipe ever! I will also be making some frozen vegetables on the side.
- Sunday – 09/12/21
- Sunday nights have I have been trying to stick with easy meals! Tonight we will be having Slow Cooker Honey Buffalo Wings! This will be the first time I am trying this receipe, but I think it will be really good! As a side dish, I am also trying out another new recipe, Cheesy Instant Pot Rice and Vegetables.
- Monday – 09/13/21
- Tonight we will be having hamburgers for dinner. I make these every other week. This is one of those that I don’t have a real recipe to share with you. I just make them very simply by making patties with ground beef. Sometimes I’ll throw a little bit of McCormick hamburger seasoning on them. For my one daughter that does not eat meat, I will be making some Impossible Burgers. I will also be making a can of pork and beans, and Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges.
- Tuesday – 09/14/21
- Every Tuesday, we do some type of Mexican theme meal. Tonight we will be making Sheet Pan Shrimp Fajitas! These are really simple to make and taste great!
- Wednesday – 09/15/21
- Wednesdays are usually seafood nights. Tonight we will be having Crab Cakes. For side dishes, i will be be making Chef John’s Classic Macaroni Salad and Air Fryer Roasted Cauliflower and Broccoli.
- Thursday – 09/16/21
- Thursday’s we usually do some type of soup and grilled cheese, or breakfast for dinner. This is the night that I go food shopping, so I try to keep things simple. Tonight we will be having Slow Cooker Corn Chowder and grilled cheese. When dinner time comes, I just have to cook up some grilled cheese sandwiches, and dinner is done!
- Friday – 09/17/21
- Today I will be making Portuguese Chicken. This recipe uses bone in chicken breast which is coated with a creamy sauce. For sides I will be making some Crispy Air Fried Sweet Potato Wedges and boxed flavored rice.
