MEAL PLAN WITH RECIPE LINKS – 03/11 – 03/17/23
You can hear the audio version of this meal plan on my podcast at Lola’s Frugal Life Podcast, on Apple Podcast, and on many other platforms!
Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.
- Saturday – 03/11/23
- Tonight we will be having Super Easy Swedish Meatballs with Chef John’s Perfect Mashed Potatoes.
- Sunday – 03/12/23
- Today we will be keeping it easy with a crockpot meal with a quick oven-baked dish at dinner time. In the crockpot, I will be making Sausage and Peppers for a Dozen. When it comes time for dinner I will quickly throw together some Baked Ziti.
- Monday – 03/13/23
- Tonight we will be having hamburgers for dinner. I make these every other week. This is one of those that I don’t have a real recipe to share with you. I just make them very simply by making patties with ground beef. Sometimes I’ll throw a little bit of McCormick hamburger seasoning on them. I will also be making a can of pork and beans, and Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges.
- Tuesday – 03/14/23
- Tonight is our Mexican theme meal night! We will be having Homemade Nachos with Ground Beef.
- Wednesday – 03/15/23
- We usually rotate some type of seafood on Wednesdays. Tonight we will be having One Pot Garlic Butter Shrimp and Orzo. I will be making some frozen vegetables on the side!
- Thursday – 03/16/23
- Today I will make Shamrock shamed ravioli with Quick and Easy Air Fryer Sausage.
- Friday – 03/17/23
- Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. Tonight I will be cooking corned beef in the crock pot. For a side dish, I will be making Easy Irish Colecannon. It combines mashed potatoes and cabbage if you have not had it before.
