MEAL PLAN WITH RECIPE LINKS – 05/13 – 05/19/23

Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.

  • Sunday – 05/14/23
    • Tonight we will be having Chicken Francese with some linguini and frozen vegetables.
  • Monday – 05/15/23
    • Tonight we will be doing Rib Eye steak for dinner. I just marinate the steak with some McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, oil, and wine vinegar. Then throw it on the grill, or broil it to your desired doneness. As a side dish, I will be making Cheesy Instant Pot Rice and Vegetables.
  • Tuesday – 05/16/23
    • Every Tuesday, we do some type of Mexican theme meal. Tonight we are going to do Taco Tuesday! I don’t have a recipe the share for the tacos, but I can tell you how I serve them. For the meat, I cook up some ground turkey and season it with seasoned salt and chili powder. Then I serve with hard taco shells, soft taco shells, shredded cheddar, avocados, sour cream, and taco sauce.
  • Wednesday – 05/17/23
    • Wednesday is seafood night most weeks. This week we are having Easy Shrimp Scampi. When the shrimp is done, I serve it with some cooked spaghetti to make a nice shrimp pasta meal.
  • Thursday – 05/18/23
    • Thursday we usually do some type of soup and grilled cheese, or breakfast for dinner. This is the night that I go food shopping, so I don’t want to spend a lot of time cooking. Tonight we will be doing Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole.
  • Friday – 05/19/23
    • Tonight we will be having fried chicken cutlets. I just slice the chicken thin, dip in egg and breadcrumb, and fry it up in a frying pan. As a side, I will be making Pasta with Tomatoes, Basil and Garlic.
