free weekly meal plan

You can hear the audio version of this meal plan on my podcast at Lola’s Frugal Life Podcast, on Apple Podcast, and on many other platforms!

Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.

  • Saturday – 07/06/24
  • Sunday – 07/07/24
    • Today I will be making Creamy Herbed Pork Chops. This is one of my favorite ways to make pork chops. Honestly, I have never made the “creamy part” of the recipe. I am sure it is good! But, I just love the pork chops seasoned with the Montreal Steak seasoning and browned in the butter. It comes out so good. I use bone-in pork chops. For side dishes, we will have Classic Macaroni Salad and some frozen vegetables.
  • Monday – 07/08/24
    • Tonight we will be having fried chicken cutlets. I just slice the chicken thin, dip in egg and breadcrumb, and fry it up in a frying pan. As a side, I will be making Baked Feta Pasta.
  • Tuesday – 07/09/24
    • Every Tuesday, we do some type of Mexican theme meal. Tonight we are going to do Taco Tuesday! I don’t have a recipe the share for the tacos, but I can tell you how I serve them. For the meat, I cook up some ground beef and season it with seasoned salt and chili powder. Then I serve with hard taco shells, soft taco shells, shredded cheddar, avocados, sour cream, and taco sauce.
  • Thursday – 07/04/24
  • Friday – 07/05/24
    • Tonight we will be doing Rib Eye steak for dinner. I just marinate the steak with some McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, oil, and wine vinegar. Then throw it on the grill, or broil it to your desired doneness. As side dishes, I will be making Cauliflower Au Gratin, and . Carrot Fries
