Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope that this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.

  • Saturday -08/06/22
    • Tonight will we will be cooking on the grill. I will be making boneless grilled chicken thighs brushed with barbeque sauce and some brats in the air fryer. For a side, I will be making Pasta with Tomatoes, Basil and Garlic.
  • Monday – 08/08/22
    • Tonight we will be having hamburgers for dinner. I make these every other week. This is one of those that I don’t have a real recipe to share with you. I just make them very simply by making patties with ground beef. Sometimes I’ll throw a little bit of McCormick hamburger seasoning on them. For my one daughter that does not eat meat, I will be making some Impossible Burgers. I will also be making a Caprese Salad , and Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges.
  • Tuesday – 08/09/22
    • Every Tuesday, we do some type of Mexican theme meal. Tonight we are going to do Taco Tuesday! I don’t have a recipe the share for the tacos, but I can tell you how I serve them. For the meat, I cook up some ground turkey and season it with seasoned salt and chili powder. Then I serve with hard taco shells, soft taco shells, shredded cheddar, avocados, sour cream, and taco sauce.
  • Wednesday – 08/10/22
    • We usually rotate some type of seafood on Wednesdays. Tonight we will be having Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp. I have mentioned previously that I do not actually wrap the shrimp when I make this recipe. Instead, I cut up the bacon into pieces and lay over the shrimp on the baking sheet. I will be serving this with Five Ingredient Simple Green Pasta Salad.
  • Thursday – 08/11/22
    • Thursday we usually do some type of soup and grilled cheese, or breakfast for dinner. This is the night that I go food shopping, so I try to keep things simple. Tonight we will be having Slow Cooker Corn Chowder and grilled cheese. When dinner time comes, I just have to cook up some grilled cheese sandwiches, and dinner is done!
  • Friday – 08/12/22
    • Tonight I will be cooking up some Tender Italian Baked Chicken. This is a quick to prepared breaded chicken cutlet recipe. As a side dish, I will be making some Baked Feta Pasta.
