Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.

  • Saturday – 05/11/24
    • Tonight we will be having French Dip Sandwiches. I don’t have a link for this recipe. However, all you have to do is put all of the following ingredients into your crockpot and cook on low all day: 3 pounds chuck roast, 1 envelope of onion soup mix, 1 packet au jus gravy mix, and 1 14-ounce can of beef broth. When it’s done, serve with some rolls and Swiss or provolone cheese! Tonight instead of making the sandwiches we will be serving over Chef John’s Mashed Potatoes.
  • Sunday – 05/12/24
    • Today is Mother’s Day. I will be taking a break from cooking today! We will be ordering in food.
  • Monday – 05/13/24
    • Tonight I will be making Marry Me Chicken. We will be serving this with white rice and some frozen vegetables.
  • Tuesday – 05/14/24
    • Every Tuesday, we do some type of Mexican theme meal. Tonight we are going to do a Southwest Skillet!
  • Wednesday – 05/15/24
    • Wednesday is seafood night most weeks. This week we are having Easy Shrimp Scampi. When the shrimp is done, I serve it with some cooked spaghetti to make a nice shrimp pasta meal.
