MEAL PLAN WITH RECIPE LINKS – 04/06 – 04/12/24

Welcome to my weekly meal plan! Each week I like to share the meal plan that I will be using for my family for the upcoming week. I do this because I think that having a meal plan is really important for many reasons. Some of those reasons include saving money, wasting less food, and having less stress when it comes time to figure out “what’s for dinner?”! I try to stick with a meal plan that is simple to make things a little easier during our busy weeks. I hope this can help you with some ideas of what you might want to make this week.

• Saturday – 04/06/24
  • Today we will be having Skillet Lemony Chicken and Artichokes with some boxed long-grain and wild rice.
• Sunday – 04/07/24
  • Tonight we will be having a Juicy Roasted Chicken! We will be serving with Chef John’s Perfect Mashed Potatoes and some frozen vegetables.

• Monday – 04/08/24
  • Tonight we will be having Sausage and Vegetable Sheet Pan Dinner. It’s a great simple meal!

• Tuesday – 04/09/24
  • Every Tuesday, we do some type of Mexican theme meal. Tonight we are going to do Taco Tuesday! I don’t have a recipe to share for the tacos, but I can tell you how I serve them. For the meat, I cook up some ground turkey and season it with seasoned salt and chili powder. Then I serve with hard taco shells, soft taco shells, shredded cheddar, avocados, sour cream, and taco sauce.

• Wednesday – 04/10/24
  • We usually rotate some type of seafood on Wednesdays. Tonight we will be having Creamy Tuscan Salmon Shrimp Pasta! If you would like to see my YouTube video of this recipe, click here!

• Thursday – 04/11/24
  • Tonight we will be having French Dip Sandwiches. I don’t have a link for this recipe. However, all you have to do is put all of the following ingredients into your crockpot and cook on low all day: 3 pounds chuck roast, 1 envelope of onion soup mix, 1 packet au jus gravy mix, and 1 14-ounce can of beef broth. When it’s done, serve with some rolls and Swiss or Provolone cheese.
• Friday – 04/12/24
  • Tonight we will be doing Rib Eye steak for dinner. I just marinate the steak with some McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, oil, and wine vinegar. Then throw it on the grill, or broil it to your desired doneness. For side dishes, we will have Cheesy Brussels Sprout Bake and Cajun Style Baked Sweet Potatoes.
